Fabric Purse

Here's an easy-to-make little bag that will come in very handy for carrying your money, jewellery or your collection of Nebulous Stars collectible figurines!

Materials:

• Short, fluffy, non-fraying fabric (approx. 30 cm × 30 cm)
• Silk cord, 110 cm
• 2 beads
• Strass in different colours
• Fabric glue
• Round plate (approx. 23 cm in diameter)
• Pencil
• Ruler
• Scissors

Lay your fabric on your work table, with the fluffy side against it. Place your plate in the centre, then trace the outline with a pencil. Then cut out the circle from the fabric.

Divide your circle into 4: first fold your circle in 2, then draw a pencil line on the fold at each end, about 1 cm from the edge of the fabric. Fold the circle in the opposite direction, then draw 2 more lines. Then, between each of your 4 lines, draw another small line, every 2 cm. You should get 32 stitches in all.

Cut a small hole in each dot you drew. Cut the silk cord in 2, then thread through the holes, alternating over and under the fabric. The 2 cords must meet in the same hole at the end.

A.Glue the rhinestones to the fabric, on the fluffy side, with fabric glue or any other strong glue.
B.Thread a bead through the strings and tie them together. Do the same with the other end of the cords.

You can also choose a patterned fabric or rhinestones of different shapes and sizes to create a purse that perfectly reflects your personality!
